80th Anniversary Reunion Cancelled

In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic, USC has taken strong action to cancel all on and off-campus events for the near term.  As such we are cancelling the 3-4 April “NROTC 80th Anniversary & Spring Ball.”  Many of you have travel plans to come to LA, along with staying at the USC Hotel for the event.  I will be working with the hotel regarding cancelling rooms and our ballroom event.  Hopefully you can resolve airline travel plans and booking fees.

On a positive note I have been talking with the NROTC CO – Col Sean McBride – and we are looking at the possibility of rescheduling our 80th Anniversary event to be in November, jointly with the midshipmen’s annual “Birthday Ball.”  More on that in coming month, and updates will be included in the next issue of The LOG newsletter, and also on our website – www.uscnrotc.org.

Deposits that you have made for the 3-4 April event can be either: (1) refunded to you, or (2) saved for a rescheduled event in November.  Please contact Bob Brockmeier at bnbbrock@gmail.com with your choice.

This is a challenging situation that we all have to deal with to stay safe and protect ourselves and loved ones…

Still Fighting on…
